Regeneration Officer

Salary NS8 £31,022 - £32,597 per annum

Are you passionate about helping to deliver projects that make a real difference to people and places? As our Regeneration Officer, you will support the delivery of a range of regeneration projects across the district, helping to create thriving places where communities can live, work and play. This role would be ideal for someone looking to develop a career in regeneration, project delivery or place-making.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist in the planning, coordination and monitoring of capital projects, ensuring key activities are delivered efficiently. You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, helping to develop project proposals, monitor progress, support engagement activities and support the preparation of reports. You will also contribute to the identification of future regeneration opportunities and help build the evidence base for future investment that addresses socio-economic challenges and enhances the built environment. Customer-focused and committed to putting residents at the heart of everything you do, you will support meaningful community engagement and ensure local voices are considered throughout the project lifecycle.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience of supporting projects, programmes or regeneration initiatives, together with strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be able to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate project records and contribute to problem-solving and risk management activities. You will also be educated to a minimum Level Three and with English and Maths GCSE, grade A-C/4-9.
