Join us in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere at The Storey's Printroom Cafe and Ashton Hal's bar amongst other Lancaster City Council venues. Your role will be key in delivering high-quality food, alcohol and beverage services and supporting successful events that bring our community together. By contributing to a safe, inclusive environment, you’ll help make Lancaster a vibrant place to live and visit. Availability for evenings and weekends is pertinent to meet the needs of our diverse events and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, alcohol, cakes, and light snacks, while operating the till and handling cash with care. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the café, bar, kitchen, and equipment will be part of your daily routine. You’ll manage stock levels, complete necessary checks, and assist with event setups and visitor facilities across various council sites, ensuring smooth and enjoyable experiences for all. Evening and weekend shifts will be a regular part of your schedule.

You’ll Fit Right In If…
You have experience in hospitality and enjoy working in a busy, customer-focused environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude will help you thrive here.
