About the role

Are you someone who enjoys organising information, building strong relationships, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an ICT Contracts and Information Officer to help us manage our ICT contracts, documentation and compliance processes, ensuring the Council receives high-quality, cost-effective services that support our communities.

Working in this role will help ensure reliable ICT services, strong supplier performance and value for money for residents, businesses and colleagues.

What you will be doing

In this varied and rewarding role you will:

  • Lead on the management of ICT contract lifecycles: reviewing, renewing, negotiating and ensuring full compliance with public procurement rules.
  • Work closely with suppliers, legal, procurement, and internal teams to make sure our ICT services deliver real value.
  • Maintain accurate ICT documentation, configuration records, and asset information so colleagues have what they need, when they need it.
  • Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests related to ICT, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

About you

The ICT Contracts and Information Officer will enjoy working with information, processes and systems and take pride in keeping things accurate and well organised. You'll be confident building positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and partners and able to manage a varied workload while maintaining high standards. You will share our values and be committed to delivering an effective and reliable service.
