Job Title: Intermediate Care Therapy Assistant
Salary: £29,253– £32,736 per annum (pro rata to hours worked as part-time)
Grade: C
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 14.8 hours per week - on a shift rota working pattern
About the Department
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Care Therapy Assistant to join our highly motivated Intermediate Care Therapy Team based within the Older People’s Community Mental Health Team integrated with our health partners (EPUT).
This is a key role in ensuring the Council delivers high quality social care services to Thurrock citizens who are requiring mental health support and intervention
About the Role
The role will include working within a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on reablement and a belief in the personalisation agenda and keen to work in an environment that puts its service users first.
The team provides care within the older people mental health services, working closely with health colleagues to avoid hospital admission and to enable early discharge.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and good at communicating.
It is essential that the applicant has a valid full UK driver's licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
