Sefton Youth Justice Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Victim and Restorative Justice Officer. This is a part-time role (0.5 FTE / 18 hours per week), working collaboratively with the current post holder to share responsibilities for the full-time position.
We are looking for someone with experience in supporting victims of youth offending, ensuring they are informed, empowered, and actively involved in the outcomes related to the children who have committed offences. You will develop strong links with the other youth clubs and the surrounding community in order to help meet the needs of the young person and community, to provide a comprehensive and holistic programme of work, whilst also addressing barriers some young people may face.
The role requires a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Youth and Community Work and EWC registration under the category of Youth Support Worker or&nbsp;Working towards, or a willingness to achieve the level 3 qualification in Youth and Community Work and EWC registration within a reasonable timeframe following appointment.
