Hawley Woods School provides a specialist environment and support primarily for autistic children and those needing a similarly adapted approach with small classes of 6-8 pupils within our calm, nurturing setting. Hertsmere Borough Council are looking for HGV Driver/Loaders, to join our efficient street cleansing, waste and recycling collection service within and around Hertsmere.
The job involves driving a HGV refuse collection vehicle, being responsible for routine inspections, maintenance and cleansing of the vehicle.&nbsp; As part of the role you will complete all necessary paperwork and lead and also assist a small team involved in the collection of refuse.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
To apply you will need to have at least 1 years’ experience in a HGV driving role, &nbsp;you will have proven experience of manual handling and be capable of walking long distances and pulling and emptying refuse bins when required.

This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis (36 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime. &nbsp;
