We are seeking a creative and motivated senior social work practitioner to join our Placement Team.
The Placement Team will offer you the opportunity to work with approved foster carers, connected persons and those applying for a Special Guardianship Order (SGO). The post offers the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and practice in relation&nbsp;to the service including Connected persons and Form F assessments, delivering training and supervising foster carers. There is opportunity to learn from the experiences of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality service to the fostering families of Blaenau Gwent.

To be eligible for this role all applicants must have a degree (or equivalent) within Social Work and be registered with Social Care Wales. Substantial post qualifying childcare experience within a statutory children’s services team is also essential and experience of supervising staff and/or students is desirable.
