As the Senior Social Worker, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of a highly effective Adult Social Care service in an efficient manner. Senior Social Worker - Early Help and Prevention

Senior Practitioner - 16+ Care Leavers Service 

Medway’s Children’s services, who have been rated Good recently by Ofsted are recruiting a part time Independent Reviewing Officer who has children at the very heart of all they do. Independent Reviewing Officer

As the Senior Social Worker, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of a highly effective Adult Social Care service in an efficient manner. You will ensure the service is delivered using a strengths based, personalised approach and lead on agreed areas of quality assurance and audit activity – ensuring that multiple and complex sources of information (e.g. complaints, safeguarding adult reviews, audits etc.) are gathered, analysed, and used to direct quality improvement activity. You will be responsible for the professional supervision and oversee a team of social care staff ensuring improvement activity with the service is driven by but not limited to training, coaching and mentoring, peer support workshops. You will provide oversight, professional advice and guidance to the team whilst maintaining your own complex case load. You will be required to work autonomously within the role, demonstrating expert and effective practice in complex situations managing higher levels of risk in a way that ensures the safeguarding and welfare of service users. You will work within organisational policy and legislative requirements including The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Medway Family Solutions Service as part of the wider Family Solutions agenda for the position of a Family Solutions Practitioner.An opportunity has arisen to join our Family Solutions service as a full time (37 hours) Family Solutions Team Leader. You will work alongside the Hub Manager and be responsible for managing and leading delivery of early help interventions and targeted support to improve the outcomes for children, young people and their families.You will be responsible for the managing a team of Family Solutions Practitioners, providing supervision and expert advice, including critical oversight of cases.Your role will include working closely with a range of partners who will also contribute to devising and implementing timely interventions and programmes with children, young people and their families.<h4> About you</h4>You will have GCSEs at level 5 or above in English and Maths, together with an NVQ 4 in working with families with multiple or complex needs or another relevant discipline.
