Your role in our journey
As a Telecare Responder within Assistive Living Technologies you’ll be an important part of the nationally accredited team that provides a 24/7 Monitoring Centre, Response and Installation Team.
You will provide round-the-clock support to vulnerable service users ensuring they get the help they need as soon as possible for example, after a fall. You will respond to vulnerable service users in Barnsley and work in partnership with stakeholders with a common goal to promote the independence of vulnerable adults.
What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need a relevant Level 2 qualification in Health &amp; Social Care,&nbsp;experience in a customer focused environment with&nbsp;excellent communication skills and&nbsp;knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable adults.

This home provides residential overnight short breaks to children and young people with disabilities; learning disabilities, complex health needs, Autism, ADHD and associated behaviours. The home works alongside other short break service providers and professional agencies to meet the assessed needs of the children and young people.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated person who is able to meet the physical and emotionally demanding role of a Senior Residential Support Worker.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a residential setting with children and young people with disabilities/complex needs and/or vulnerable adults with complex needs/ disabilities. The successful applicant will need to evidence experience of direct work in a residential setting with young people.
This Senior post is an exciting opportunity for an experienced children’s Residential Support Worker to take on increased responsibility such as shift management and staff support.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate skills in working as part of a team as well as working on their own initiative.&nbsp;
The successful applicant will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
The successful applicant will work on a rota basis including weekends and Bank Holidays
The successful applicant will have a commitment to maintaining and developing a quality service and they will always contribute to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people and promote their education, health and wellbeing to effectively meet positive outcomes.&nbsp;

Senior Residential Support Worker

An opportunity has arisen to work in our Resilient Communities Team as a projects and Contracts Officer. We are looking for candidates with a passion for improving the lives of our residents, with vision and the ability to work effectively with partners to deliver excellent services and outcomes for our customers.
A comprehensive understanding and experience of working in a complex environment, planning and co-ordination, the commissioning process, contracting and performance monitoring is required.
The postholder will work within a portfolio that leads on the development and delivery of interventions to reduce the impact of poverty and food insecurity, and the provision of support to the Armed Forces Community.&nbsp; This includes the delivery of the Department for Educations Holiday Activity and Food Programme, and distribution of the Household Support Fund.
The role is varied, and you will be required you to work at pace to support the development and delivery of interventions to meet new and emerging need.&nbsp; The roll also includes contract monitoring, performance management and financial accountability, and you should have experience and an understanding of all aspects of the commissioning cycle.
Poverty and food insecurity ae complex, ever changing and emotive subjects and it is essential you have an understanding of these subjects.&nbsp; You should also have an understanding of the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, and the challenges faced by members of the Armed Forces Community.
For either post you must also be able to display:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;An ability to interrogate and analyse data and information and produce quality documentation including reports to support system change and service delivery.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to negotiate, influence and enthuse colleagues both internally and across partner agencies.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A commitment to working in collaboration with partners from all sectors including those with lived experience.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A clear commitment and proven ability to deliver high quality outcomes and performance with a drive and enthusiasm for change.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to successfully deliver results at an operational level.
