What is the job role? What is the job role? The service also supports children in care who are living in foster care and at risk of relationship breakdown, helping to ensure stability and prevent children having to move again. We use therapeutically informed, evidence-based, models of practice and assist families to make significant, positive changes.&nbsp;You will provide intensive therapeutic and social care support to young people aged 8 – 18 and their families, usually over a period of 6 – 12 weeks. &nbsp;The work builds on a family’s strengths and introduces coping strategies. It mixes practical support with strong challenge, to address complex and enduring needs.&nbsp;Team members engage young people and families to defuse crises within the home, assess problems, develop measurable goals and help the whole family acquire the skills necessary to achieve them.&nbsp;Cases will span a wide range of issues including family conflict, absence from home, sexual exploitation, educational issues, anti-social behaviour’s, substance abuse and mental health.&nbsp;Working closely with other agencies and local services, you will be on the frontline of an approach that improves behaviour’s, relationships, confidence, aspiration, employability, living conditions and mental and physical health.All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. Adult Social Care encompasses a wide range of vital services covering;

	<li>Social Work Services - we work with individuals who have care and support needs, and with their carers be they older or younger adults</li>
	<li>Occupational Therapy and Equipment Services - we aim to enhance people’s ability to live safely and independently in their home</li>
	<li>Internally Provided Services – we provide direct support to people enabling those in most need to live independent and fulfilled lives</li>
	<li>Business Systems and Continuous Improvement - we provide a range of services including Financial Assessments, provider payment processing and Business Systems administration. The Business Systems team provide support to Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and Education Services.</li>

What is the job role? At Gosford Community Hub we offer day opportunities for adults with multiple and profound learning disabilities.&nbsp; We support many individuals who do not verbally communicate so our staff needs to pay attention to detail and think outside of the box to provide a high standard person-centred care.&nbsp;We are looking for warm, fun, bubbly, caring staff who are confident to run and plan activities that are inclusive for all in their local community.
