The Staffordshire Centre for Data Analytics (SCDA) is a partnership consisting of Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Police and Keele University.&nbsp;Our vision is to lead the way in addressing public sector challenges through innovative research, data analytics and collaborative working.&nbsp;The Project Support Officer will oversee the progress and delivery of our Research Projects, and in some cases take direct responsibility for projects, associated activities or tasks.&nbsp;The role will follow a hybrid working arrangement from Monday-Friday, fixed term until March 2026 (with potential for extension). Main Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be:&nbsp;<ul>
<li>To report on the progress of agreed research projects against plans, internal processes and Key Performance Indicators.</li>
<li>To establish quality control and appropriate project governance, analysing risks and maintaining risk registers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To ensure that any risks or issues within projects are identified and communicated to the relevant person for resolution.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To support the development of Research Proposals, completing ad-hoc research and collating data and insight where required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To build positive working relationships with a range of people across Staffordshire who play an active role in the success of the Centre.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To participate in structured and unstructured meetings, workshops and other events and facilitating where appropriate.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To understand and apply information governance principles within the design and delivery of projects.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>The Ideal Candidate We are looking for you to:&nbsp;<ul>
<li>Want to make a real difference to public services&nbsp;</li>
<li>Have an understanding of local government, the broader public sector and partnership working</li>
<li>Be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent in experience</li>
<li>Have a working knowledge and awareness of project management methodologies and techniques</li>
<li>Have experience in aggregating, analysing and reporting on a range of information</li>
<li>Have an excellent standard of written English and be able to interpret numerical data quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Be able to build credible relationships and networks with people from varying professional backgrounds</li>
<li>Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude and focus on delivery</li>
