Working Hours: 2 x 12.5 hours per week, permanent Loughborough Town Hall is an award-winning, receiving house Theatre, Art gallery and venue, set in the heart of Charnwood in Leicestershire and welcoming over 100,000 people per year. Hosting over 250 performances and events per year, including an award-winning annual pantomime, Loughborough Town Hall has a varied programme attracting nationally acclaimed acts and productions across the world of comedy, drama, musical theatre, and beyond. Working as part of the Box office, you will be the welcoming face of Loughborough Town Hall for our audience members, ensuring they receive excellent customer service throughout their visit. On any given day, you will deliver a high standard of customer service. Day to day tasks will include, welcoming customers, advising on show availability and content, processing payments, dealing with customer communication and supporting the box office manager.
IT literacy is essential alongside an openness to learn new processes. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in using ticketing booking systems (notably spektix), although full training will still be provided. You will need a friendly and approachable manner and excellent communication skills. Working as part of an enthusiastic team, you will have good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy and bustling environment. The nature of the work will require flexibility across a busy programme of shows and events, involving evening and weekend working.

We are looking for a part-time receptionist to provide front of house services at Harborough Innovation Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays (2 days/16 hours per week).
Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) provides support services to start-up and growing businesses in the Harborough district.&nbsp; As the first point of contact for our residential businesses and visitors using our flexible workspaces, meeting and conference rooms, you will work as part of a friendly and dedicated team delivering first class, professional customer service. Ensuring all enquiries are processed to the required performance standards and complying with the Council’s policies &amp; procedures are key responsibilities of this post.
Applicants should have previous experience of administrative and clerical duties and possess good customer liaison skills. Duties also include provision of a telephony service and mail handling on behalf of the businesses associated with the Innovation Centre, as well as ad hoc cover in our busy café as required. Flexibility will be required to cover holidays and sickness.
