Maintain the Contracts Register, ensuring compliance with the Transparency Act 2015. Help prepare spend analysis data and monitor procurement spend Provide administrative and technical support to Contract Officers, including work on the PFI Contract. Be the first point of contact for the team, handling enquiries professionally via phone, email, and in person. Provide administration support to the Team, organising and supporting meetings, including preparing agendas, briefing papers, and minutes. Update the Procurement and Contracts Section’s online resources.About You: We’re looking for someone who is: Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload. Skilled in communication, both written and verbal. Experienced in providing administrative support, ideally within local government or a similar environment. Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council are seeking a part-time Property Lawyer.
You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister (or equivalent) with recent experience of working in all areas of property law in a local government context. Applicants will require excellent communication skills and be able to manage a substantial caseload.
Reporting to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, the successful candidate will have a broad portfolio of work including high value commercial leases and transfers and providing property advice to all of the authority’s services.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Revenues &amp; Benefits team as a Revenue &amp; Benefits Officer.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll manage a diverse caseload, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and in line with statutory regulations, policies, and procedures. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a local government setting and have knowledge of Revenues &amp; Benefits systems and document management tools—but we’re also keen to hear from candidates with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn.
You’ll need to be confident working with data, maintaining accurate records, and using Microsoft Office and web-based systems. Experience in administering Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax discounts and exemptions would be a strong advantage.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
