Working alongside the Safer Communities Domestic Abuse Service, you will ensure a joined-up approach and promote early identification of domestic abuse and safe and&nbsp;appropriate responses.&nbsp; As one of two specialist domestic abuse practitioners situated in MASH, you will work as part of the multi-agency team to strengthen our response and promote better outcomes for victim-survivors (adults and children) experiencing domestic abuse whilst supporting the ongoing work of the Safer Communities Service.
This role will involve constant collaboration with various agencies, including police, social services, and healthcare providers, to share information and coordinate support and so experience of multi-agency working and exemplary relationship building is imperative as we continue to develop the role and ensure that victim voice is heard as safeguarding decisions are being made.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll collaborate closely with directorates and project/programme teams to ensure effective governance and compliance of our projects from inception to closure.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:As part of the PMO team, you will play a key role in embedding Governance &amp; Assurance practices across the Council’s transformation portfolios<ul>
<li>You will develop close relationships with programme/project leads and senior managers giving leadership, support, challenge and scrutiny to ensure and influence successful delivery of key programmes/projects  &nbsp;</li>
<li>You will design, implement and embed ‘best-practice’ transformation tools and processes, communicating these to the people delivering transformation&nbsp;</li>
<li>You will ensure that staff are using these tools and processes to deliver transformation by completing independent assurance and health checks on projects and programmes</li>
<li>You will provide expert advice to staff on delivering transformation, providing coaching and mentoring as needed</li>
<li>You will provide objective assurance of projects and programmes, across their lifecycle, up to senior management by creating and reviewing project, programme and portfolio level reports on performance</li>
