About the Role
Two vacancies have arisen for Multi Skilled Operatives within the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management depot in Wallasey. This is a great opportunity to work on some of Liverpool City Region's historic assets, such as the Kingsway and Queensway tunnels and other key transport infrastructure across the region.
The role will primarily assist in keeping the Mersey Tunnels and wider LCRCA estate safe, clean and maintained to a high standard. The roles are part of a team working across a 24/7 operation on a 12 hour shift roster.

About the person
It is essential that the successful applicants have a full UK manual driving licence.
Furthermore, they will hold, as a minimum, a relevant NVQ Level 1; City &amp; Guilds Level 1 in construction or engineering field with experience of working in a construction or engineering environment.
Applicants must have knowledge and awareness of relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, policy and procedures to ensure safe working. &nbsp;

We are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our repairs and maintenance team with good knowledge of day to day repairs and relevant experience of diagnosing and managing their delivery. Previous experience of working for a Local Authority or housing provider is not essential and you may have a trade background working for a Contractor delivering day to day repairs. Applicants must be enthusiastic, good communicators, display attention to detail and be keen to develop their building surveying skills. Experience of working with customers of a repairs service, understanding their needs and managing their expectations is essential. What is the role? You will be based at any one of our Area Housing Offices working as part of a Repairs team. You will carry out a wide range of duties across our varied 15,000 housing stock, together with our asset portfolio of corporate operational, commercial and community assets including schools. You will predominantly be attending day to day repairs, updating stock data, evaluating and diagnosing what work is required, assessing the best options to carry out the work and issuing response repairs. Skills: You need to: 1. Be able to demonstrate sufficient relevant experience and knowledge of general day to day response repairs in a housing or commercial environment. 2. Have good building construction technology and building pathology knowledge together with the ability to evaluate and diagnose what work is required, assess the best options to carry out the work and issuing response repairs and advising others. 3. Have a knowledge of building related legislation as appropriate to the role and be able to apply as necessary. 4. Have knowledge and experience of construction related health &amp; safety legislation knowledge generally and be able to apply specifically the working at height regulations, and Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. 5. Practical surveying skills that can be demonstrated; specifically, be able to carry out stock data and measured surveys, accurately recording stock data as appropriate. 6. Demonstrating you can manage a contractor using a contract, negotiating contractual matters and resolution of disputes with contractors. 7. Have knowledge and experience of cost control techniques and be able to demonstrate commercial awareness when undertaking cost estimates for larger repair work, exercise financial control when managing work and assess value for money for work undertaken when auditing completed repairs. About the Role
A vacancy has arisen for a Mechanical, Systems and Electrical (MSE) Maintenance Program Lead within the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management location in Wallasey.
This role is integral to the Maintenance Delivery Team who will act as the Principal Contractor for LCRCA when delivering maintenance and projects across all Mechanical, Systems and Electrical (MSE) assets.
This role will be responsible for all MSE asset performance by developing and implementing Planned Maintenance programs and delivering internal investment projects on time and in budget.
This role will contribute to strategic asset management and lifecycle of assets across the LCRCA estate.
The MSE team are the Statutory Compliance duty holders for all MSE related activities and will strive to continually improve Health and Safety of the team and trades by innovative use of technology and reviewing maintenance practices. The MSE Lead will report to the Maintenance Delivery Manager and supervise a team of engineers by setting standards then managing activities and performance.
Working hours are flexible across a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday inclusive.&nbsp;
