Our Independence At Home service will prevent hospital admissions and support people to age in place and stay at home for as long as possible.
This role requires travelling within the community, primarily East Staffordshire, and so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
We have two part time position available with a range of shifts between 7am and 10pm, which will include weekends. We require our team to work flexibly, which means you may be required to work other days to complete training.

Main Responsibilities

As a MiCare Support Worker you:

Main Responsibilities
You will:

<li>be working with families across the continuum of need from Child In Need through to the conclusion of Care Proceedings.</li>

Additionally, you will assist Repairs Management in collating and monitoring KPI statistics and assist in processing and dealing with complaints, customer correspondence and customer satisfaction data.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate substantial experience and knowledge of the social housing sector within a repairs and maintenance framework or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience as set out in the person specification.

About you…
<ul>
<li>Capable of lone working safely, previous experience in an enforcement role preferred</li>
<li>A keen eye for detail</li>
<li>An excellent communicator able to encourage considerate parking, sometimes in challenging situations, whilst providing a high level of customer service</li>
<li>Computer literate, you will be able to apply these skills to using a mobile phone with parking software</li>
</ul>
About the role…
<ul>
<li>To inspect and identify vehicles parked in contravention of parking regulations</li>
<li>Issue penalty charge notices where necessary, to ensure our roads are safe and congestion free,</li>
<li>Walking several miles per day, outdoors in all seasons,</li>
<li>Full training in parking enforcement will be provided, including conflict management</li>
<li>Working flexibly on shifts between 8am-6pm weekdays, likely 10am-6pm, with regular evening, weekend and bank holiday work with pay uplifts. Initial training may be within weekday and Saturday 8am-6pm range</li>
</ul>
Please note, the successful applicant will need access to a private vehicle; be mobile and able to work from various locations with a full, valid UK driving licence and business vehicle insurance cover.&nbsp; This is to enable travel across the county to undertake the full requirements of the role.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to a standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

The Council is recruiting a Work Planner (Damp &amp; Mould Team).
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Damp, Mould and Business Support Team. In this role, you will work closely with on-site technical staff and operatives and customers to ensure all Damp, Mould works are planned in and managed. You will have experience of working within a direct labour organisation and will be required to work independently but within a team setting.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will be customer focused, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service. To succeed in this position, you should have previous office experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong proficiency in using and supporting computer systems - including databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in housing management work planning systems is essential and familiarity with Awaab’s Law would be advantageous, though not essential. Additionally, experience of working in a social housing repairs &amp; maintenance setting is essential.

Main Responsibilities
You will:
