What is the job role? &nbsp;We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Tutor to join our Skills, Employment &amp; Adult Education Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) adult learning programmes that support learners to achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals. In addition to teaching high quality ESOL sessions yourself, you’ll lead curriculum delivery, manage a small team, mentor other tutors, coordinate high quality learner support and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement. This role will have a particular focus on leading and coordinating our new First Steps ESOL project which focuses on engaging residents who have beginner/pre-Entry - Entry 1 level English language skills to start their language learning journey.&nbsp;Course content will focus on English language aligned to the Home Office Indicators of Integration Framework such as housing, work, education, health &amp; social care and leisure as well as assisting learners to access support from organisations across Coventry. As part of the front door to Adult Social Care, you’ll handle telephone referrals, carry out visits, and complete Care Act assessments. You’ll deliver timely, strengths-based assessments and support plans that promote independence, choice and autonomy.
You’ll also play a key role in safeguarding, follow departmental recording standards, and contribute to multi-agency discharge planning to support safe, timely transitions. Supporting carers is central to the role too, including offering Carers Assessments in line with the Care Act 2014

What is the job role? &nbsp;Are you organised and detail-focused with a commitment to providing a high-quality support service? We are looking for a part time Senior Administrator to join our growing Learner Services team. You'll be supporting the work of the Adult Education Service to provide courses to the residents of Coventry. This varied role includes supporting wider aspects of administration work which will include ensuring learners receive correct information/advice, undertaking data input, raising/paying orders, supporting at enrolment sessions, maintaining spreadsheets, working flexibly to cover reception/other venues and any other duties expected of administration staff.&nbsp;All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK.
