About this Role&nbsp;
This role is a hybrid of office and home working as well as being out on our estates.  This is a very varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. One day you will be visiting residents in their home to discuss affordable payment arrangements and the next carrying out tenancy sign ups. You will be creative in your approach to support customers and ensure optimal income collection. You will be responsible for managing your own dedicated accounts and really getting to know your tenants, providing expert advice around welfare benefits and income maximisation. You will have an eye for detail and will want to do the best by our residents in supporting them to sustain their tenancies.&nbsp;

The Role
Supporting the work of the supported housing improvement programme (SHIP) multi-disciplinary team. The team are tasked with scrutinising all aspects of supported housing provision to ensure it provides value for money, good quality accommodation and support service. The post holder is responsible for providing a full range of administrative duties:

About the role:
Our Social Worker/Senior Social Worker’s role is a pivotal one within our Adoption service.&nbsp; Some of your responsibilities will include:

<li>undertaking ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel</li>
<li>support families throughout the matching process and once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order</li>
<li>participating in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters</li>

About you: 
As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and as a Senior Social Worker, a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You’ll have an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion within service delivery.
