We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the service as our Senior Environmental Protection Officer (Noise Specialist) for pollution and public health.Providing a specialism for noise and acoustics, you will play an important role in delivering and overseeing our statutory and non-statutory functions related to environmental noise protection&nbsp;and pollution. This includes managing complex investigations, conducting acoustic assessments, critically analysing noise surveys, and taking enforcement action where necessary.You will provide advice to the team on development control issues, community complaints relating to transport, construction, and licensing alongside noise from commercial activities.&nbsp;You will also undertake noise monitoring from time to time, to ensure we meet our statutory obligations.
