    The role:

    • The role of Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager will lead the development, coordination and delivery of volunteer programmes across Liverpool's major sports and cultural events portfolio
    • In the role of Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager, you will oversee volunteer recruitment, role allocation, training, deployment, workforce planning and volunteer welfare across multiple events
    • The Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager will develop accessible, inclusive and sustainable volunteering opportunities that broaden participation and create lasting community benefits
    • Your experience as Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager will enable you to manage large-scale volunteer programmes, develop training pathways and build a skilled, motivated and event-ready workforce
    • The role of Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager includes working with event organisers, delivery partners and stakeholders to ensure volunteers are effectively integrated into event operations and spectator experiences
    • As Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager, you will monitor performance, evaluate impact and contribute to creating a long-term volunteering legacy for Liverpool and future major events

    This role is fixed term for the purpose of delivering a programme of major events and will end 31 August 2028.
