Hours: 37 per weekYour Contributions:The Mental Health social work team works with adults, who meet the criteria in line with the Care Act and require support in relation to their mental health. We work closely with our Mental Health Trust colleagues to provide a responsive, holistic and recovery focussed response to adults with complex mental health needs.We are a well-established and stable team with supportive management. The managers in the team are experienced AMHP’s who will offer support and guidance. Our team has a mixture of experienced practitioners all willing to support new members to the team. We are a friendly and welcoming team. We are looking for qualified Approved Mental Health Professionals. HBC 9, Spinal Points 32-35- £42,839-£46,142- Approved Mental Health Professional (Pay award pending). Social, Workers will also receive in addition to their salary a £4,000 Market Supplement (pro rata) PLUS AMHP’s will also attract an additional £2000 per annum market supplement. PLUS Essential Car User allowance. You must be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, and a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional in order to perform the statutory duties of an AMHP for Halton Borough Council. As an Approved Mental Health Professional we also offer an additional £2,000 per year allowance and Essential Car user. The day time AMHP service includes the working hours between 9am- 5pm Monday- Friday. Relevant training is also provided to ensure professional development, access to support/advice, regular AMHP supervision with the AMHP Lead and monthly AMHP forums- where there will be cake! Social Worker- Approved Mental Health Professional

Our Team:The Reablement service provides short term care and support to adults within their own homes within the Halton area. The team focuses on service users strengths to enable them to stay independent and improve their wellbeing. Our team aims to build service users confidence after a stay in hospital, illness or deterioration in their health; preventing re-admission to hospital or a premature move to a care home.The Reablement Service operates 365 days per year. Our care and support worker shift patterns are across a two week rota, working every other weekend. All posts include a mixture of early and late shifts. Early shifts commence at 7.30am and Late shifts finish at 9pm or 11pm.Enhancements are paid for weekends and unsocial hours. You will receive a car allowance payment monthly in addition to your business mileage. Your Contributions:The Reablement team is looking for caring, hardworking, compassionate and innovative individuals who can ensure that service users care and support plans are provided to a high standard, empowering service users and promoting their independence. You will be joining a supportive and knowledgeable legal team that is committed to delivering advice in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring best value for the Council while helping to meet the complex and evolving needs of the community.
