Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a talent for systems management and team leadership? Folkestone &amp; Hythe District Council is looking for a dynamic Systems &amp; Transactions Team Leader to join our Finance team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our financial transactions and systems team.
As the Systems &amp; Transactions Team Leader, you will:

<li>- Lead and manage a team of Systems Support and Finance Officers, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.</li>
<li>- Play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of our new finance system.</li>
<li>- Run standardised financial system reports as required.</li>
<li>- Process interface files and reconcile opening and closing balances.</li>
<li>- Ensure the integrity of financial data.</li>
<li>- Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, and maintain the financial chart of accounts.</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:

<li>Qualifications: A-C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent experience. Minimum AAT Part Qualified Accountant.</li>
<li>Experience: At least 2 years of recent and relevant experience in a financial environment, with knowledge of electronic payments systems and financial administration.</li>

An opportunity has arisen in the East Kent District of Thanet. &nbsp;We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join and guide a superb team of social workers in our children’s social work service.
The successful applicant will be supporting a team of Social Workers providing high quality social work in the service to Children in Need and Children subject to Child Protection plans.
Your role as a Senior Practitioner requires you to be an experienced Social Worker who is able to manage a caseload of complex cases involving assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of appropriate actions. &nbsp;Ensuring resources are utilised effectively to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and their families.
You will also be required to contribute to raising and maintaining standards of professional social work within a social work team, develop areas of specialist practice, offer expert advice to less experienced staff, and act as a Practice Assessor for students and ASYE. You will be well motivated to support and understudy for your Team Manager in order to sustain and improve our performance.
Above all, you’ll be focused on helping children and families to change their lives for the better. You will be required to understand and help lead the delivery on the Change for Kent Programme in the Ramsgate Service, working closely with Early Help and Open Access services to deliver and shape Integrated Children’s Services.

Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG)
Manage and maintain the corporate address gazetteer for 65,000+ properties in line with national standards for addressing (BS766:2006), the Data Transfer Format (DTF7.3) and follow the principles for address creation as directed by the Data Entry Conventions standard.
Street Naming and Numbering
Understand the statutory requirements of the acts of Parliament in relation to Street Naming and Numbering and advise senior managers and councillors on the council’s obligation for the naming and numbering of new streets and residential and commercial properties
