The Delivery Programme Officer (Retrofit) will be an integral part of multidisciplinary team, initially dedicated to supporting the 27 members of London’s Social Housing Fund Wave 3 Strategic Partnership to deliver retrofit measures across social housing in the capital at an unprecedented scale.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Services team and work with the adaptations and rehousing teams across Waverley &amp; Guildford.&nbsp; We need a motivated and well organised professional to enhance and grow the services provided to disabled persons in both boroughs.
The team administers renovation grants and disabled facilities grants, as well as adaptations in Guildford’s own council stock. There is an in-house Home Improvement agency, Care and Repair and a dedicated handyperson service.
You will manage our small team of housing Occupational Therpist’s and bathing advisor, carry out home assessments, order major adaptations, give expert advice on transfers, new build housing schemes and generally provide a source of expertise on disability issues.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of Office and home working.

The team works with residents of Guildford and Waverley seeking to take up services offered by the Home Improvement Agency, Care &amp; Repair.
The agency provides a client led technical service for elderly disabled and vulnerable clients seeking to access grant funding or financial support to improve or adapt their privately owned and tenanted homes. You will work closely with health and technical professionals to establish the clients needs. You will visit clients in their homes to&nbsp; assist with applications and financial assessments maintaining accurate and complete records

Reporting to the Principal Enforcement Officer – Licensing, you will play a key role in the administration and enforcement of a broad range of licensing legislation.
