SAFETY WORKER - Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention Positive Change Service – the domestic abuse intervention service for LBTH children’s social care – is seeking permanent Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. The service is part of the Children’s Social Care, MASH and Assessment &amp; Intervention Service. We are currently looking for staff who are experienced in working with perpetrators, survivors and their children impacted on domestic abuse.The role of Safety Worker includes both group and individual work with clients, as well as liaising with other stakeholders such as referrers Our usual work with clients runs for around 6 months to a year. The work may involve a combination of assessment, groupwork, individual work and even co-parenting work between (ex)-partners. All of the work is aimed at increasing the safety of children and adult survivors of domestic abuse.We are self-reflective team, providing a strong level of clinical supervision, training and development. We are seeking a Safety Worker with some experience of delivering domestic abuse behaviour change work, and in working with parents towards children’s safety.
