We are looking for experienced and passionate fitness instructors to cover a varying shift pattern including evenings and weekends. The role is to conduct health checks, inductions, run synrgy classes and prescribe safe and effective programmes for member and users.&nbsp; To provide a presence on the gym floor and be available at all times to assist customers with their exercise programmes and ensure that they are using the equipment correctly. The positions will also involve membership sales and retention, actively promoting and encouraging customers and visitors to join as full paying members.&nbsp; Member interaction and retention initiatives are key indicators within our business, and you will need to demonstrate skills in these areas.&nbsp; The ideal candidates will have the ability to teach small group classes.
Qualifications 
This position requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate, with the desire to work toward Level 3 and a current first aid at work certificate would be desirable.&nbsp;

You are required to hold a full - current lifeguarding certificate and will be expected to provide poolside as well as dry-side area supervision. The Mental Health team would like to offer Approved Mental Health Professionals the opportunity to support the Isle of Wight AMHP Service through our casual bank list. We are looking for Approved Mental Health Professionals who are approved by a Local Authority, or willing to work to be approved by the Isle of Wight Council, to cover the function of executing Mental Health Act Assessments in a variety of settings.
This post is zero-hours and would suit AMHPs who work for another Authority but would like some experience working on an island, or for AMHPs that have not practiced for a while but would be willing to undertake the training to become approved by the Isle of Wight Council.
The ethos of the post is to cover AMHP shifts in case of vacancies or sickness as part of the 24-hour on-call rota, including evening and weekend hours and bank holidays.
We will provide you with an induction to the systems used and resources of the island before you will be expected to work on your own, in addition to support from the AMHP manager to discuss any areas of practice concerns.
Post incentives:
