An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and pro-active Triage assessment officer to support Ashfield District Council’s Community Safety Team.&nbsp;
This post will be the first point of contact&nbsp;for reports of anti-social behaviour, advice and support via telephone and email.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The role will provide comprehensive triage service relating to the management of Anti-social behaviour.&nbsp;&nbsp; The role focuses on early intervention, reassurance to victims and witnesses and protection of vulnerable victims and making appropriate referrals. They will be expected to carry out risk assessments and identify vulnerability at an early stage and understand when a situation is a safeguarding concern and ensure appropriate referrals are made.
The role also deals with the reporting of environmental offences such as littering, dog fouling, fly-tipping, in line with our corporate objective of Cleaner and Greener.
This role is vital in supporting our council priorities in understanding the needs of Ashfield residents and making our communities safer and our environment cleaner. We also have a strong commitment to addressing Domestic Abuse and violence against women and girls.

We are looking for three experienced Housing Officers to join our Housing Management Team, who provide&nbsp;an excellent tenancy and estate management service to&nbsp;our local community.

As a Housing Officer, you will manage a local patch of properties in the Ashfield district.&nbsp;You will deal with all aspects of tenancy and estate management including providing advice and support to sustain tenancies, working in partnership with stakeholders, and taking enforcement action when necessary.

The role involves mainly working out on our estates in the district, visiting customers in their own home, and establishing good relationships across the community. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, as well as the preparation of legal documentation and attendance at Court.

You must be organised and able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload with competing demands, be flexible to respond to unplanned situations and possess the problem-solving skills needed to deal with issues at pace and with accuracy.

The Environmental Education Project, based at Rosliston Forestry Centre delivers award winning outdoor sessions and provides fun learning experiences for schools, volunteers, corporate groups, individuals and families at Rosliston and across the National Forest. We are looking to expand our team with casual Rangers who can lead conservation groups of individual and corporate volunteers. Casual Environmental Education Rangers: days/ hours according to bookings and taking into account your availability and preferences.
