<li>Be responsible for the smooth running of the chapel, making sure services run to time and in accordance with all procedures and industry standards.</li>
<li>Coordinate with music providers, officiants and funeral directors regarding webcasts, service recordings, music requests and service content.</li>
<li>Operate music and webcasting systems.</li>
<li>Maintain a strict cleaning regime between services in the chapel and assist with daily cleaning of site including book of remembrance, flower room, staff and visitor facilities and maintaining cleaning records.&nbsp;</li>
<li>From time to time, provide cover in the bereavement services office including data input, taking bookings for services, answering telephone enquiries and performing witnessed laying to rest of ashes.</li>
<li>Complete fire alarm testing weekly and be a nominated fire warden for the site.</li>

About the Role
Step into a pivotal leadership role as we progress our Family Help model, fully inspired by the transformative Families First approach. As a Practice Manager you will be responsible for managing a unit of 6 social workers and 2 family support workers. You will lead the duty team on a 1:8 weekly basis and be responsible for providing case direction to social workers on allocation. You will also be accountable for all CP, CIN and Early Help cases management, including Pre-Proceedings and Proceedings under the PLO. The role entails working closely with the expert Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) as well as our Resource Team, Domestic Abuse Service (Reach Out) Pre and Post Birth Team and Specialist Exploitation Team, to ensure families get the right help at the right time. Key to this role is providing effective supervision and leadership to staff ensuring that cases do not drift and that key KPI’s are fully met. &nbsp;

Essential Criteria

<li>Recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.</li>

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Team Manager who is a registered Social Worker with Social Work England. The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience working with children and families in the statutory sector and will join our Children’s Specialist Support Team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

<h3>About you...</h3>
You will have significant post-qualifying experience in statutory work with children and families. A strong understanding of assessment, planning and intervention is essential to ensure that needs-led services and interventions are provided and the right plans are in place for children and families.
You will be a natural leader with the ability to build effective relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills and work collaboratively as part of a management team. You will have direct responsibility for Social Workers, including Newly Qualified Social Workers and Family Workers.
You will also be comfortable deputising for the Team Manager, managing performance, chairing meetings and supporting recruitment and retention efforts.

<li>To support the Team Manager to manage the delivery and performance of the Children’s Specialist Support Team.</li>
<li>To promote and support the council’s policies and procedures for safeguarding, ensuring children are at the centre of all decisions, and the social model of disability is respected in all work.</li>
<li>To ensure arrangements for regular engagement/participation with children and young people, parents and carers by all staff within the service.</li>
<li>To lead on strategy discussions, child in need meetings, professional meetings and other forums.</li>
<li>To providing high quality, reflective supervision (in line with the supervision policy).</li>
