About you
We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of working with and influencing a broad range of partners and stakeholders across business, the public sector, and voluntary/community organisations. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and delivering stakeholder management plans, employing a variety of strategies to nurture both new and existing relationships, such as attending networking events, speaking at functions, and conducting one-to-one business meetings. We also seek someone with experience in designing and delivering a communications plan, which includes creating social media content, running campaigns, and writing press releases.
The successful candidate must be able to establish personal and professional credibility quickly with diverse groups of people and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. A proven track record of effective co-production with partners or residents will be key to success in this role. Additionally, strong organisational and coordination skills are required, with the ability to manage and run events and programmes under pressure and within tight timeframes.
A thorough understanding of the Luton context, including its demographics, challenges, and strengths, is essential. We are also looking for a candidate with a relevant qualification or substantial, verifiable experience in influencing, policy, or partnership disciplines.
