You will work within the Resident Services Team and have experience of working in social housing, tenancy management or similar public sector role, dealing with complex casework face to face and in writing, experience of developing relationships with wide range of local stakeholders and partners,&nbsp; providing good tenancy, housing and leasehold advice, best practice and compliance is desirable. <ul>

About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Driver Operative to work within the Waste and Recycling teams.
As a qualified Driver, you will possess the minimum requirement of a clean Category C HGV licence as well as up to date CPC.&nbsp;&nbsp;It would also be an advantage if you hold a current digital tachograph card but this can be arranged as required.
You will be required to take the lead on the round, ensuring that all Health and Safety practices are adhered to by you and your crew. You will also be able to complete all administrative processes associated with your round and operate our in-cab system, Bartec, for which training will be provided ensuring accurate data entry into our system particularly for missed, contaminated, and damaged bins.
Bank holiday working is contractual, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Where bank holidays are worked, pay is at the rate of triple time for each bank holiday. Saturday catch-up working is contractual at Christmas and New Year, paid at the rate of time and a half.
About you:
To succeed as Driver Operative you will need to be a team player with outstanding behaviours, flexible attitude, and approach to job priority that ensures the department meets all its objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;You will also be required to cover for absences in other areas of the department.

The Role
