The purpose of the role is to assist in the application of engineering skills and knowledge in the Drainage/Highway Drainage/Civil Design Section of the Engineering Projects Group in accordance with corporate and directorate/divisional policies and objectives, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.The post holder will assist with the compliance of legislative responsibilities, manage technical guidance, progress and task completion, staff development / training, budget / financial control, and efficient and effective use of available resources.The successful applicant will also undertake the design, contract preparation, procurement, supervision of drainage improvements, non-routine maintenance schemes and other miscellaneous engineering design services.For the role, we ask that you have: <ul><li>A relevant Level 4, 5 or 6 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
