We currently have both full time and a part time opportunities within the Kinship/SGO assessment team within the fostering service.&nbsp; The team undertakes viability assessments, Regulation 24 assessments, full fostering assessments of family and friends and SGO assessments.&nbsp;&nbsp; A significant proportion of our work is court ordered assessments.
Previous experience in a fostering environment is desirable but not essential as your attitude, motivation, and transferable skills is what interests us. &nbsp;You do, however, need to have experience of undertaking child and family assessments, children’s safeguarding, meeting assessments deadlines.&nbsp;

As well as being next door to the recently opened Lake House hotel and bistro, this facility is one of Sefton’s primary assets situated in the stunning Crosby Coastal Park area of Sefton, Merseyside.
As a member of the coaching team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality sessions and courses, and the facilitation of our Pay &amp; Play hire. We are looking for enthusiastic instructors/coaches, who are passionate about the benefits of the outdoor experience and can deliver safe and fun sessions. In addition to activity delivery, you will be required to assist in the general running of a busy leisure and outdoor activity Centre eg equipment storage and maintenance.&nbsp;
Our current activities include canoeing, kayaking, sailing, raft building, bell boating, team building and archery and more are in the pipeline. Local Taxation &amp; Assessment Processing Officer – Housing Benefits - Level 2 &amp; 3.
About the Role:
The Revenues and Benefits Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit several Local Taxation, Assessment, and Processing Officers at level 2 and level 3. The service is responsible for the administration, assessments and transactional processes in relation to Housing Benefit ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidance
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals, able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to interpret legislation to make decisions and utilise IT systems to accurately record information is essential as is the ability to work at pace.

Level 2 and Level 3 duties to include:
<ul>
<li>Calculate, record and process assessments for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidance</li>
<li>Analyse and assess data /information to determine outcomes in relation to entitlement to benefits including changes in entitlement</li>
<li>Deal with inbound and outbound contact with customers via telephone, email or letter</li>
<li>Work to well defined standard business processes to analyse information and perform more complex tasks</li>
<li>Be proactive in contributing to the achievement of statistical and qualitative performance targets</li>
<li>Assist in the development of the service</li>
</ul>
For Level 3 positions, proven experience of relevant legislation, working procedures and technical knowledge in respect of Housing Benefit and/or Welfare Benefits is desirable however individuals able to demonstrate good problem solving and decision-making skills, with suitable transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
Additional Level 3 duties&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Analyse and assess data /information to determine outcomes in relation to entitlement to benefits including changes and more complex processes</li>
<li>Ability to undertake visits as required.</li>
