About the roleThe Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service is looking for inspirational tutors to deliver learning to adults, across Northamptonshire.We have some rewarding and exciting opportunities available to work as a casual tutor delivering a variety of courses. To create engaging lesson plans, deliver instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and levels, and assess students' progress. To adapt teaching methods accordingly and implement support measures. Responsible for the completion of all tutor activity including individual learning plans, progression, administration and other associated activities. Additionally provide support and encouragement to learners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to personal growth and achievement, while also promoting lifelong learning and empowerment within their adult student community.Courses may include accredited courses such as Functional Skills English/Maths, or may be non-accredited learning such as languages, craft, family learning, etc... Courses are primarily delivered to Adult Learners (19+) however we also have a 16-18 Study Programme on offer within our service. You may be required to travel around the county for delivery as well as some remote working. About youA level 3 teaching qualification is preferred; however, we are looking for passionate and experienced people in their field and we will support individuals in achieving their Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education where required. You will be an organised, positive, enthusiastic, friendly individual who has education and achievement at the heart of your professionalism. You will want to thrive for the best outcomes for your learners to ensure they successfully reach their goals and aims. You will ideally have experience of teaching accredited and/or well-being programmes. You will take an imaginative and innovative approach to your teaching duties to engage and support your learners to succeed and gain the skills needed to interact confidently within a community, education or work setting. <h2>About the role</h2>
Are you passionate about safeguarding children and ensuring they receive the education they deserve? We are seeking a dedicated Tracking Officer to support our Children Missing from Education (CME) processes.&nbsp;
This critical role ensures that children do not go missing from education and are safeguarded effectively. The position is 37 hours per week, with part-flexible working arrangements that include both office and remote work.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. West Northamptonshire Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
<h2>Additional information</h2>
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of safeguarding in education and experience in liaising with families, schools, and other agencies. While experience in an education background is advantageous, it is not essential. Proficiency in using various IT packages is a must, along with excellent time management and prioritising abilities.
You should have outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively. The ability to work independently and take initiative is crucial, as is the ability to confidently challenge professionals and families when necessary. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of service users.

<h2>About the role</h2>
West Northamptonshire Educational Psychology Service is seeking to recruit creative and innovative psychologists to expand its existing team of skilled and friendly staff, as we develop and grow.
West Northamptonshire is still a fairly new unitary council – with many opportunities to shape the future of the educational psychology service through co-constructing future directions with our stakeholders and developing the team together.&nbsp;
The Service is very well regarded and supported within the council, which has a strong focus on values-based practice and staff wellbeing. We are keen for staff at all levels to contribute to, or lead&nbsp;initiatives and projects in line with our model of distributed leadership, giving opportunities to develop, experience and contribute to strategic developments.
The EPS is committed to developing services in response to community needs. We provide a broad and extensive centralised training offer and promote emotional wellbeing for school staff through our coaching and supervision offer. The service leads on the Northamptonshire Baby Room Project and the Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) programme, and we are developing initiative into MELSA.
The service will provide you with a comprehensive induction and CPD programme and regular professional supervision. Additional mentoring support will be provided if you are a newly qualified EP.&nbsp;
We have extensive links with training universities, with two members of our EP team employed as tutors on EP training courses - along with other links to local universities.

West Northamptonshire Council covers the geographical area to the south and west of Northamptonshire. The service is based at One Angel Square in central Northampton. The EPS promotes a balance of face to face, alongside remote working. You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone to support a flexible approach.&nbsp;
Salary will increase up to £63,348 FTE with 3 SPA points.&nbsp;
Previously awarded SPA points will be honoured.&nbsp;
West Northamptonshire Educational Psychologists are employed on local scales - which exceed Soulbury terms - alongside a generous annual leave entitlement of up to 34 days (FTE).
