Success in this role will rely on your ability to create consensus and momentum across school leadership and governance. You’ll be able to articulate a distinct vision for the change that is needed and clarity on the practical steps that need to happen to get us where we want to be.
We expect that you will already have a proven track record of leading school improvement and SEND provision across a number of schools, either in another local authority or in a multi academy trust. Who are we?
Mapesbury School is our new Special Educational Needs school in Cricklewood, Brent. Our small school supports children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education. Pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but may not yet have a diagnosis, though they display traits of Autism and associated conditions.
