Pendle Borough Council is looking for a motivated and professional Taxi Enforcement Officer to join our taxi licensing team.
You will play an important role in maintaining the safety, legality, and high standards of licensed taxi and private hire operations across Pendle.
This is a public-facing enforcement role that requires excellent communication skills, a fair approach, and the confidence to deal with challenging situations.
Working both independently and as part of a small team, you will help ensure that all licensed drivers, vehicles, and operators comply with relevant legislation, licence conditions, and council policies.
Pendle is in Lancashire’s scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.

We are recruiting a Registration and Celebratory Services Officerat Caerphilly County Borough Council. We pay an attractive salary of £16.35 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities. Caerphilly Registration Service wishes to appoint Relief Registration and Celebratory Services Officers to provide additional casual support mainly for conducting and registering civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. The working pattern will be on a relief basis, as and when required over 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. The work can be seasonal with the majority over the spring and summer months. Applicants must be available to work on all 7 days of a week. Whilst the shift pattern is provided on a rota in advance, you may also be called on at short notice.
