About the Role
This is a chance to join a talented team to deliver Bus Franchising for the Liverpool City Region. It is a key transformation enabling the delivery of our ambition to have a modern, integrated and publicly controlled public transport system.
As the Fleet Lead, you will be able to lead the way in the industry. As a member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the fleet strategy, enabling bus franchising and long-term fleet evolution.
About the person
You should have experience of working within the public transport sector with expertise in the bus industry. It is essential you have a track record of preparing and evaluating commercial tenders but also developing and implementing strategies for fleet that offer value for money, promote modal shift, patronage growth and help achieve net zero.
As a proactive and collaborative team member, it is key that you can lead and influence, build stakeholder relationships and use data to inform strategies. You will use your expertise to zoom in and out to enable aligned decision making and develop robust risk management plans.
You will inspire and motivate others within a culture of proactive delivery and continuous improvement.
