Swim Wirral Instructors
About the Role: 
Active Wirral is seeking suitability trained, Level 2 Swimming Instructors to become part of our lesson deliver team.
The role will involve front line swimming lesson delivery to a variety of leisure stakeholders to include Swim Wirral, Aqua Tots and Adult Learn to Swim customers.
There are a variety of hours available from 10 hours per week up to 17.5 hours per week, working at the following Active Wirral Leisure Centres, Europa Pools, West Kirby Concourse, The Oval &amp; Leasowe Leisure Centre.
Swim Wirral lessons are delivered over 42 weeks per year.
About the candidate:

This role is expected to provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in our borough car parks, in order to minimise Parking Contraventions through the issue of penalty charge notices in appropriate cases, in accordance with the Council’s objectives, policies and the Parking Order.

Salary: Up to £30,076.80 p.a.

We are looking for hard-working and dedicated people to help keep Broxbourne’s streets safe by joining our team of Civil Enforcement Officers.
Keeping children safe especially near schools, ensuring emergency vehicles have unrestricted access, as well as &nbsp;improving access to disabled bays and local facilities for less-abled people are essential aspects of this role.
The Civil Enforcement Officers ensure that drivers comply with these regulations as well as providing guidance. They play a vital role in ensuring good traffic flow, maximising available parking spaces and enhancing safety throughout the Borough.
The areas of responsibility include both on and off-street parking contraventions, as well as the smooth running of the Council’s pay and display car parks and on-street pay and display areas.
Excellent customer care skills are essential for this role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good people skills often in challenging situations; they must be good team players and have basic computer skills. They must be prepared to work in all weathers on a flexible rota basis, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
A manual driving licence is required. This role requires a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English&nbsp; &nbsp; is essential in this post.

The Parking Services Team cover enforcement of parking restrictions and Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) offences across the whole of North Somerset district.As a CEO you will be expected to patrol Council car parks and on street areas covered by parking enforcement and offer a consistent and fair approach to enforcement and management of North Somerset parking. You will also be required to enforce PSPO Offences, such as littering, dog fouling and smoking in a Children’s play area. You will operate as an individual and with other team members and act as a Council ambassador, offering help and guidance to the public over a range of topics. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills and be professional at all times particularly when dealing with potential confrontational situations. Working hours will be on a fixed rota basis, 4 days on 2 days off, to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Full uniform and training provided.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Checking vehicles in car parks and in-street enforcement areas to ensure they comply with the parking order and legislation</li><li>Issuing parking enforcement notices and collecting evidence</li><li>Collecting evidence of PSPO offence</li><li>Maintenance and checking of Pay and Display machines</li><li>Health and Safety checks to car parks</li><li>Assisting with local events as required</li><li>Checking Blue Badges</li></ul>The post-holder must have a valid driving licence or be able to use suitable alternative methods of travel throughout the district.Work StyleAt North Somerset Council, we offer a hybrid working environment based on four distinct work styles.
