As Head of Culture, you will provide strategic leadership for culture across the Liverpool City Region, working collaboratively across all six boroughs to maximise the social, cultural and economic impact of the visitor economy. You will shape and deliver a place‑based, partnership‑led programme that celebrates the region’s cultural strengths, supports businesses and communities, and positions the City Region as a leading national and international destination for culture and major events. Confident working across political, public, private and voluntary sectors, you will be skilled at building trust, influencing stakeholders and securing external funding. A clear communicator and persuasive advocate for culture, you will be passionate about the role culture plays in driving inclusive growth, supporting communities and strengthening the Liverpool City Region’s national and international profile.&nbsp;
You will support the objectives of the strategic framework for the visitor economy across the city region. The Destination Management Plan is the guiding compass for promotion and delivery within a new funding and governance landscape

About the role…
As a Community &amp; Wellbeing Worker you will play a key role in delivering Rutland’s physical health and wellbeing offer. Duties include:

<li>Developing and delivering evidence-based physical activity and wellbeing programmes for children, young people, adults, and families—supporting both prevention and early intervention.</li>
<li>Coordinating and delivering a range of early and focused support through groupwork and 1:1 interventions, including physical activity-based sessions.</li>
<li>Supporting and promoting the physical health, mental health, and wellbeing offer available across Rutland.</li>
<li>Collaborating with volunteers, community groups and multi-agency partners to deliver impactful, innovative solutions focused on active lifestyles and improved wellbeing.</li>

As a Community and Wellbeing Worker, you will be required to work flexibly, when the community needs support. A full UK driving license is required to enable the post holder to travel around the county. Evening and weekend work may also be required.

We currently have 2 kitchens, so you may drive from our Castlewood Kitchen based in Clevedon, or our Weston kitchen based in Worle Where a Council vehicle is used, to undertake vehicle safety checks and routines, reporting incidents as required in accordance with North Somerset operational policiesKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>To ensure daily work instructions are acknowledged and both planning and preparations for operational deployment are undertaken.</li></ul><ul><li>To effectively deliver community meals services to our clients in accordance with a journey plan, timetable and/or a delivery manifest, in a timely manner and with a person focused approach.</li></ul><ul><li>To undertake client welfare checks at each visit in line with agreed protocols and instructions on the schedule/plan, reporting any incidents and communicating any variances in accordance with council policy.</li></ul><ul><li>Where a Council vehicle is used, to position, collect and return the vehicle from multi point locations.</li></ul><ul><li>To maintain a current, valid driving licence (minimum of a Category B) and submit this routinely for review.</li></ul>This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. You should be confident in working independently but also a keen team player. Being a clear and strong communicator that offers experience and understanding of supporting people who are older and / or disabled will be beneficial to the role. We are keen to invite interest that can demonstrate transferable skills within your career to date although full training and continuous professional development is offered.Under the direction of the Lead Driver and / or Community Meals Team Manager, to deliver high quality customer focused services that supports the work of this service.,. Duties will typically include delivering hot and cold meals within a prearranged, structured schedule to clients, where needed, plating meals and ensuring a hot / cold drink is available; in addition, checking that the person is well, and reporting any concerns in line with North Somerset procedures. Where a Council vehicle is used, operating fleet vehicles and taking them into the garage as part of a scheduled service plan.
