An exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate to join our busy Student Services team at Christleton High School. The post holder will lead the schools additional learning provision for a small group of students who are, at times, unable to access mainstream lessons due to behavioural, emotional or mental health issues. You should have an understanding of the statutory nature of education welfare work, a good standard of education and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to be confident communicating with children, parents, a range of stakeholders and our wider community. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of the induction process.

The Governing Body of this small, vibrant school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised School Bursar for 11 hours a week, to join our team and start as soon as possible. This is a key role in managing the school’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities include:

The Bridge Short Stay School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in the pastoral and academic support of Secondary aged students who display challenging behaviour. This role will involve supporting individuals and groups both within lessons and delivering withdrawal interventions for targeted students and cover of lessons in the absence of teaching staff.
Due to the diverse nature of students our school operates a number of different pathways to meet need. Our students are all unique and need to experience a range of different adults working with them; we don’t have a fixed model of the ideal person for this role, but sharing in our values is essential as it the ability to support students with their learning, social and behavioural needs.
The Bridge primarily caters for students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools, we are passionate about providing a second chance for students who have struggled in their education and putting them on a pathway towards future success. The work is challenging and requires someone who can maintain a focus on the best interests of the student while demonstrating flexibility and resilience under pressure. In return the successful candidate would be supported in joining a committed and friendly team with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. This post would be an ideal opportunity for an individual who is seeking experience ahead of a career in Teaching.
