Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and great at building relationships? We’re looking for a&nbsp;Research and Data Analyst&nbsp;to join our Research and Data Team, supporting schools with statutory returns, assessments, and general data guidance.
This&nbsp;role involves collecting school information, ensuring data quality, preparing attainment data, and producing reports for schools. You’ll need excellent communication skills - both on the phone and via email - and the ability to work patiently and professionally with schools.
What you’ll do
<ul>
<li>Provide clear guidance and support to schools and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Collect, collate, and submit statistical information and returns required by Government departments and external agencies.</li>
<li>Assist with statutory and other government-required analyses in consultation with the School Organisation and Place Planning Manager.</li>
<li>Produce high-quality management information to support Children’s Services</li>
<li>Interpret and present management information and data as directed.</li>
<li>Support the analysis and management of pupil, school, and performance data.</li>
</ul>

What we’re looking for
<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills and confidence in handling phone and email queries.</li>
<li>Patience and professionalism when working with schools and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Knowledge of school data collections and experience submitting accurate data to the Department for Education (DfE).</li>
<li>Proactive, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams).</li>
<li>Ability to manipulate raw data and apply basic statistical techniques.</li>
</ul>
Familiarity with SIMS/Integris, Power BI, and SQL would be an advantage.
