We are looking for an experienced and qualified Environmental Health Officer or Food Safety Officer (with a higher certificate in food control) to join our commercial safety team dealing with food safety, health and safety, infectious disease control and export health certification.

You will need to be highly motivated and able to work independently, with the ability to plan and manage work, and will be reporting to the Senior Environmental Health Officer (Commercial Safety)

You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and enforce it in a balanced way using all the legislative tools available.

The successful applicant must be competent in accordance with the current Food Law Code of Practice and have recent experience working in food safety in a Local Authority.
