I am looking to employ a personal assistant to provide respite care for my ten-year-old who is autistic, has ADHD, epilepsy and other health conditions. This would be for 4 hours a week term time and 6 hours a week holiday time at £12.21.
I need someone that they feel comfortable with and who can connect with them, to form a trusting bond. They should be empathetic and understanding of their needs. They should also be active as they love walks and the outdoors. I am looking for someone that could spend time with them in the park, going swimming, out for walks or playing together at home. I would also like someone that would possibly be willing to join us on family days out.
I would need someone that is first aid trained and able to manage when they have seizures and feel happy/comfortable to give medications. I am happy to train you in this.

This team is responsible for the running and management of both the SafeStats data service and the Information Sharing to Tackle Violence (ISTV) programme. The role holder will be required to help maintain the SafeStats data service and the ISTV programme, while also being involved in development work to enhance and improve upon the service provision and efficiency of both. The role will contribute to making London a safer place to live, work and visit, through supporting the Mayor’s priorities around crime, public safety, and public health.
<h2>What your day will look like</h2>
<ul>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Undertake administrative tasks related to SafeStats user accounts, including password resets and authoriser changeovers.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Respond to any queries or requests for work that have been sent into the shared mailbox. - &nbsp; &nbsp;Save and log any new SafeStats data submissions received in the mailbox. - &nbsp; &nbsp;Chase any outstanding data submissions from the relevant data provider(s). - &nbsp; &nbsp;Retrieve/download additional datasets as required from alternative sources.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Quality assure the unprocessed datasets; communicating with data providers if any data issues are found.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Process new data and upload onto the SafeStats data platform.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Geocode the free-text location datasets.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Quality assure the processed output within SafeStats – making amendments to the code and/or data as needed.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Send out data update email to SafeStats users.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Run automated performance/audit/analytical reports as required.&nbsp; - &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist in writing the processing code for new SafeStats datasets. - &nbsp; &nbsp;Test development work on the SafeStats platform once the code has been deployed.</li>

Your role will be to deliver regulatory services in relation to Licensing. Experience in animal activity licensing would be welcomed, but not essential.
This is also an exciting time for Guildford Borough Council as we continue our collaboration journey with Waverley Borough Council. Both Councils have a shared senior leadership team with plans for a single Regulatory Services function to be in place by early 2026. Guildford Borough Council’s Regulatory Services staff will then be employed by Waverley Borough Council.
