Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the Repairs &amp; Investment Team.
We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.&nbsp;
The Council is recruiting for a Business Support Team Leader on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Role
You will play a lead role in the successful management and co-ordination of operational support and administrative activities for the Repairs and Investment Service. This will include administrative support for the Principal Repairs Officer and other Repairs and Maintenance areas within the council. Additionally, you will ensure that the Repairs and Investment Service fully complies with the Councils’ Core Customer Care Standards.
You will have experience of managing and supervising a small team as the role will require managing 3 Business Support Officers and 2 Work Planners in their day to duties. You will ensure the team perform to the expected agreed standards and will develop and nurture their skills in line with performance targets.
Additionally, you will assist Repairs Management in collating and monitoring KPI statistics and assist in processing and dealing with complaints, customer correspondence and customer satisfaction data.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate substantial experience and knowledge of the social housing sector within a repairs and maintenance framework or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience as set out in the person specification.

Based at Charnwood Borough Council, an opportunity has arisen to be part of the Refugee Resettlement Scheme welcoming and supporting refugees across Leicestershire and Rutland.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
The Refugee Resettlement Assistant will be responsible for the administrative service for the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme and the UK Resettlement Scheme.&nbsp; They will support with the co-ordination of arrivals across Leicestershire and Rutland and delivery of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

We are looking for a part-time receptionist to provide front of house services at Harborough Innovation Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays (2 days/16 hours per week).
Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) provides support services to start-up and growing businesses in the Harborough district.&nbsp; As the first point of contact for our residential businesses and visitors using our flexible workspaces, meeting and conference rooms, you will work as part of a friendly and dedicated team delivering first class, professional customer service. Ensuring all enquiries are processed to the required performance standards and complying with the Council’s policies &amp; procedures are key responsibilities of this post.
Applicants should have previous experience of administrative and clerical duties and possess good customer liaison skills. Duties also include provision of a telephony service and mail handling on behalf of the businesses associated with the Innovation Centre, as well as ad hoc cover in our busy café as required. Flexibility will be required to cover holidays and sickness.
