We are looking to appoint 2 Business Support Officers to provide administrative support to the services within the Town Hall.
You will need to be able to work well in a busy environment, be a good communicator and be a good problem solver.
The role includes assisting in the efficient and customer-focused operation of the Town Hall’s reception area, dealing with and acting on enquiries and complaints.
Applicants must also be able to handle a variety of clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying and message handling. &nbsp;You must also have a sound knowledge of IT systems and a good standard of numeracy and literacy in order to draft letters and calculate invoices.

The Role
Supporting the work of the supported housing improvement programme (SHIP) multi-disciplinary team. The team are tasked with scrutinising all aspects of supported housing provision to ensure it provides value for money, good quality accommodation and support service. The post holder is responsible for providing a full range of administrative duties:

<li>Respond to enquiries</li>
<li>Minute Taking</li>
<li>Co-ordination of reports</li>
<li>Processing payments</li>
<li>Data input</li>
</ul>
This post is temporary until 31st March 2027. &nbsp;The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, working Monday – Friday. This post is based at Morecambe Town Hall.
For internal applicants, this role will be considered for a secondment opportunity. The secondment of an employee from another Service can only take place with the agreement of the Manager of the Service the applicant is contracted to. When this role comes to an end, the successful internal applicant will return to their substantive role.
