As a Business Support Officer you will undertake a variety of administrative duties depending on the service including data entry and analysis, meeting support and minute taking, receiving and making telephone calls. You may be in contact with those that use our services and a DBS may be required in these settings.Public HealthYou’ll be supporting our statutory Public Health teams dealing with confidential and sensitive matters and undertaking a range of administrative duties such as meeting support, creating agendas, note and minute taking, answering telephone calls, managing surveys and providing information as a first point of contact.Hertfordshire Fire &amp; Rescue ServiceYou’ll be supporting the teams in the Hertfordshire Fire Stations. Key duties include inputting overtime and on-call payments to HCC’s payroll system, managing the supply of uniform and PPE on behalf of operational staff, making and receiving telephone calls on behalf of the Fire Service, finance support with station budgets and purchasing, and providing information as a first point of contact.
