We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Service Delivery Officer working in Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Team to provide support to the Independent Reviewing Officers (IRO) in the administration of child in care reviews. This role is available on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis.
The role involves setting up of children in care reviews, sending out documents before and after meetings, collating reports, updating and maintaining databases and working with the IROs to ensure that statutory deadlines are met. The role also involves the coordination of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for Children’s Services to ensure they are answered within statutory timescales.
The team is based at the Shute End offices and whilst you will not be required to be in the office 5 days a week there is an expectation that you will work from the office at least 2 days a week.
About You
We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and empathetic, with the ability to prioritise work effectively. Excellent IT and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines are a must. You should have an eagle eye for detail, be an excellent communicator with a ‘can do’ attitude and have experience of working with confidential information. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams would also be an advantage.
