You’ll be undertaking a variety of groundworks and highways work, with a strong emphasis on Tarmacking, digger driving and NRSWA street works.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The working week consists of 37hrs (Monday – Friday) with flexibility to work overtime to meet specific demands. Regular working in adverse conditions could be required with the role.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>About you </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>You will need to hold a valid Class 1 HGV licence.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>The Street Scene Team carries out the following works and the ideal candidate will be proficient in at least several of these:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Excavation / drainage</p>\n<p>Tarmacking (hot lay, asphalt / bitumen)</p>\n<p>Construction of footpaths / steps</p>\n<p>Groundwork</p>\n<p>Installation of street furniture</p>\n<p>Watercourse clearance & maintenance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll need to be able to work easily as a part of a team and use your own initiative when required. You’ll need to be polite, courteous, and have a reasonable amount of initiative and independence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You should be able to work to a very high standard and at an acceptable pace to ensure the customer receives the quality service they expect from our team.
