Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our 3 sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road.
We wish to appoint an experienced teacher to inspire and lead a year group. The role will be based on one site but will involve working cooperatively with a year leader in the same year group on the other site.
About the role
In addition to being an ambitious, experienced and exemplary classroom practitioner, you will:
- Have recent and relevant experience of teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2
- Ensure the highest possible standards of teaching and learning and inclusion by both supporting and holding teachers to account
- Work closely with members of the Senior and Extended Leadership Team to ensure the school’s vision and aims are exemplified and that the School’s Key Priorities enhance the overall performance of the school whilst meeting the educational needs of the pupils
- Work cross site with the link year lead to ensure continuity of teaching, learning and assessment across the year group including data analysis
- Provide strong leadership to colleagues and participate positively in leading the school into the future
