The Housing and Land directorate is responsible for the Mayor’s plans to deliver new and improved homes and strong communities. Working closely with boroughs and partners, we manage the Mayor’s housing investment programmes and land and property assets to support the building of affordable homes, job creation and regeneration.

Our Housing and Land Directorate is dedicated to ensuring safe and high-quality residential buildings across London. You'll be working closely with other programme officers and management, contributing to the success of our remediation programmes and making a real difference in the lives of Londoners.
About the role
Are you passionate about improving the quality and safety standards of residential buildings in London? Join us as a Programme Officer in the Housing and Land Directorate, where you'll play a crucial role in administering remediation programmes aimed at accelerating cladding remediation in London. You'll be part of a dynamic team, providing analytical and administrative support for stakeholder engagement and contributing to decision-making on remediation activities.
What your day will look like
- supporting the administration of remediation programmes to improve building safety
- acting as a point of contact for external stakeholders and coordinating timely responses
- collecting, analysing, and reporting on performance data
- providing informed recommendations to management on building safety objectives
- building strong working relationships both internally and externally

Benefits
GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
