Brent Council has set an ambitious 2030 net zero target for our own estate and operations – join our highly-motivated Energy Team and contribute towards making large cost, energy and carbon savings for the Council.
Play a key role in the delivery of the Council’s energy management function, including working with suppliers, data collection and analysis to identify energy savings opportunities, and implementation of energy reduction measures to Brent’s corporate estate buildings.
Manage the Council’s energy meters database of over 1000 meters, energy and water billing procedures and payments processing. You’ll help the Council and the Energy Team in working towards our ambitious net zero goals and energy cost saving targets.
The postholder will have experience in environmental or energy related role(s) and an understanding of potential ways to save energy in buildings and large assets.
They will have excellent communication and IT skills and experience of working with data analysis that has led to financial savings.
Ideally, they will have managed utilities, in the public sector, and have experience of energy management techniques and energy management software.
