We’re on the lookout for people who enjoy working across different locations to join our permanent Public Toilet cleansing team.
Cleansing Driver Supervisor role involves driving from site to site keeping our public toilets clean, tidy, well stocked and supervise permanent and seasonal staff. Applicants will need to hold UK driving license as they will be required to drive between the sites (the van will be provided).
This is a permanent role; shift pattern 4 days on, 4 days off shift. We recognise two seasons within the public toilets service; meaning start/finish times are different to reflect on the service needs.
Winter season: commences from 1st October to 31st March and the working hours are 8am-6pm with one hour unpaid break
Summer season: commences from 1st April to 30th September and the working hours are 8am-8.30pm with one hour unpaid break
The job involves:
- Cleaning sinks and surrounding areas including walls and mirrors
- Cleaning toilet pans and seats
- Removing graffiti
- Sweeping and washing the floors
- Emptying bins
- Removing drug paraphernalia safely
- Replenishing toilet paper and soap
- Reporting damaged cleaning equipment
- Reporting maintenance issues such as broken locks and dispensers
- Driving between the sites to open, clean and close
- Supervise permanent and seasonal staff
- Carry out appropriate induction with new staff
- Complete all essential trainings
You will need to be:
- able to be on your feet all day
- self-motivated and able to work on your own as well as part of a team
- hard-working, reliable and responsible
- able to interact with members of the public

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
